Farhan Akhtar who is gearing up for his upcoming film Lucknow Central is set to be playing an aspiring Bhojpuri actor.
Farhan has always been touted as the Urban Bandra guy we all can relate to and has also been a style icon for all.
The actor who is been playing urbanized roles in popular movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, Dil Chahata Hai, is now ready to play an aspiring Bhojpuri actor who has to talk, act and emote as a Bhojpuri actor.
Farhan whom we imagine as a guy with sensibilities has moreover been shown as a huge fan of Manoj Tiwari films.
According to sources close to the project, it was the freshness of the character which attracted Farhan to the project. No Bollywood actor has played an aspiring Bhojpuri actor on the big screen till date.
Farhan has left no stone to get into the skin of his character and has undergone one month prep for his role in the film.
Lucknow Central has been in news for its huge jail set which has been erected in Film City. With this new update, it would be interesting to see Farhan as an aspiring Bhojpuri trapped in a Jail.
