It's a gospel truth that Irrfan Khan is one of the best actors in Bollywood. The talented actor has always amazed the audience with his power-packed performance.

In all his films the actor has showcased a different shade of his acting style, but at the same time has also left the audience speechless with his performance.

The trailer of Karwaan presents Irrfan at his quirkiest best, Irrfan is seen delivering dialogues that will make you laugh out loud and will leave you awestruck.

Interestingly Karwaan is a road trip film, and those who don't know 'Karwaan' marks Irrfan's second outing with road trip film.

The actor was first seen in Piku which was a road trip film. Piku revolved around the story of the short-tempered Piku Banerjee (Deepika Padukone), her grumpy, ageing father Bhashkor (Amitabh Bachchan) and Rana Chaudhary (Irrfan Khan), who is stuck between the father-daughter duo, as they embark on a journey from Delhi to Kolkata.

Irrfan had left the audience flabbergasted with his comic timing in Piku.

Now the talented actor is back again to enthrall the audience with his performance in his second road trip film.

However, Irrfan doesn't take any of his films lightly, the actor had done his part of the research for his role in Karwaan.

Director Akarsh Khurrana was recently quoted saying,"As for his role, he had done thorough homework, and built a persona, with a dialect, for Shaukat. He had loved [the] dialogues from the first narration itself, so, he was happy to be spouting the lines. His occasional improvisations had us in splits".

Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar will be seen in lead roles in Karwaan and will also be making their Bollywood debut with the film.

Karwaan tells the story of Dulquer Salmaan receiving news about his father's demise.

This serious news brings up a very unique and comical twist to the story as there is a mix-up of dead bodies, which brings Dulquer's character and his best buddy played by Irrfan to meet a lot of interesting characters on their journey to Kochi.

The film has been shot in the beautiful locales of Kerala and traces the lead cast's journey from Bangalore to Kochi via Ooty.

Interestingly Karwaan also mark's RSVP's first theatrical release of the year and is co-produced by Priti Rathi Gupta.

'Karwaan' is a roller coaster ride of three different characters and how their lives get connected on an unexpected journey.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala`s creative production house 'RSVP' in association with 'Ishka films', Karwaan is directed by Akarsh Khurana and is slated to release on 3rd August, 2018.
