Over the past few days, many Bollywood female celebrities have opened up about their horrific experiences and their sexual harassment at work. Over the past few days, #MeToo movement has gained the momentum in India and many women have come out in open to share their #MeToo stories. Many prominent personalities from media and film industry have been named and accused of sexual misconduct. Many female journalists and aspiring actresses are top on the list who have shared their stories. It all started when Tanushree Dutta levelled serious sexual harassment allegations against Nana Patekar and director Vivek Agnihotri. Tanushree accused Nana of inappropriate behaviour during a song shoot for Horn 'Ok' Pleassss. Nana has denied the allegations.
Tanushree Dutta also accused director Vivek Agnihotri with whom she has worked for Chocolate. However, the director has denied the allegations levelled against him and release a statement in this regard.
The Queen director has been accused of sexually assaulting a female employee of his company Phantom Films, first reported in 2017. The production house that didn't take a stand for months, announced its dissolution last week.
Vinta Nanda, a veteran writer-producer of the avant-garde 1990s' show "Tara" fame, has accused actor Alok Nath -- known for his "sanskaari" on-screen image -- of sexually violating her almost two decades ago.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has also been accused of sexual misconduct by a woman. Twitter user Mahima Kukreja, who initially accused AIB's former member Utsav Chakraborty of having sent her pictures of his genitalia, re-shared an account originally narrated to her by a woman, who wished to be unnamed. In her tweet, Ms Kukreja referred to the alleged survivor as "a very credible media/lit personality." The accumulated screenshots shared by Ms Kukreja recounts that Mr Ghai allegedly steered the survivor to his hotel suite after sharing drinks in his car, following which she was allegedly raped and violated. However, Subhash Ghai has denied the claims and told news agency PTI: "It is sad that it is becoming a fashion to malign anyone known, bringing some stories from past without any truth or blown up false allegations if all. I deny strictly and firmly all false allegations like these." In a separate interview to ANI, he reiterated his previous words and added he's always been respectful towards women: "I've always respected every woman in my life and at the workplace."
Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual harassment by three women, his assistant director Saloni Chopra, an actress Rachel White and a journalist Karishma Upadhyay. All three women narrated their horrific incidents on social media.

Director Luv Ranjan, who rose to fame with his films Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, has been accused by an anonymous actor of sexual harassment. The incident reportedly occurred when the director was doing look tests for Pyaar Ka Punchnama, which the actor was asked to attend by Vicky Sidana, a casting director. Luv Ranjan on Friday denied all allegations of sexual harassment against him, though he tendered an apology in case his actions hurt anyone.
T-series honcho Bhushan Kumar has also been accused by an anonymous Twitter user of sexual harassment. However, Bhushan Kumar, Friday denied the sexual harassment allegations against him, saying the claims are being used a tool to malign his reputation. An anonymous Twitter user accused Kumar of propositioning her on the pretext of signing a three-movie contract with his production house. She alleged when she refused Kumar's offer he threatened he would spoil her career if she shares her account.
