After the Box-office shattering success of 'Aquaman', James Wan is returning to horror. His next project, tentatively titled 'Silvercup' has found its two main leads.

Wan has said to cast Annabelle Wallis, known for her work as Grace in 'Peaky Blinders' and recently, and as Laurie Luhn in the Roger Ailes miniseries 'The Loudest Voice'. She made her Hollywood debut with 'The Mummy' starring opposite Tom Cruise. Wallis has previously worked with Waan on 'The Conjuring' spin-off 'Annabelle' and 'Annabelle: Creation'.The main lead for 'Silvercup' is the British actor George Young. He was seen in the British medical drama 'Casualty' and recently in the short-lived series 'Containment'.

'Silvercup' will be the center of attention of Waan, who then will return to film the 'Aquaman' sequel. Waan has been incredibly protective of his current project as he has refused to divulge any details plot-wise. We do know he has teamed up with Ingrid Bisu (who also appeared in the 'The Conjuring' spin-off 'The Nun') for the story.

'Silvercup' will be a much-needed reprieve for Wann from the 'DC' and 'The Fast and the Furious' franchise, as 'Silvercup'will be much closer to his indie-sensibilities; predating to his directorial debut 'Saw' which he co-wrote with Leigh Whannel. 'Silvercup' is being independently financed through Starlight Media and Midas Innovation, who will retain distribution rights in China. New Line will handle the remaining distribution.
