'El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie' will see another character from its parent series making a return. It is reported that actor Matt Jones will be reprising his role as Badger. For those who don't know, Badger was Jesse Pinkman's friend and associate.
Jones' character first appeared in the episode "Gray Matter' from the first season. Since then he's been around on the show as a recurring character. In his final appearance on the episode "Felina", he along with Skinny Pete helped secure financial security for Walt Jr. Vince Gilligan, the man behind 'Breaking Bad' and spin-off 'Better Call Saul' will write and direct 'El Camino'. The movie will be released on Netflix on October 11, 2019.
Created by Vince Gilligan, 'Breaking Bad' ran from 2008-2013 on AMC Network. It followed Walter White (Bryan Cranston) who when diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, transforms from a meek high school teacher to a ruthless drug manufacturer 'Heisenberg'. In his quest to be at the top of the drug trade, he is accompanied by his former student-turned junkie Jessie Pinkman (Aaron Paul). Together, they evaded both police and gangsters to reclaim their top standing in the world of crime and drugs.
