Director Matt Reeves has shared a dramatic clip from the upcoming film 'The Batman' and the internet is going crazy. #TheBatman is the top trend on twitter this morning. Twitterati feel exhilarated and the new bat-suit is all the more reason for Batman fans to rejoice. It is speculated that the bat-symbol on his suit is made up of pieces of the gun that killed his parents. Here's the clip. Check it out:

The dark setting and mood is a camera test as Reeves reveals the newest Dark Knight. The new logo, the mood, the collar and especially the jawline of Gotham's new caped crusader has the internet going gaga. Pattinson's attitude is similar to the Christian Bale's spirit of Batman, the man who literally personified the phrase 'I'm Batman', rather than the Adam West or the Ben Affleck version. Other actors who have previously portrayed Batman on-screen include Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney.

The plot details of The Batman have not been revealed. The cast includes Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Paul Dano as Riddler and Colin Farrell as Penguin.

The clip also features a 'Batman' theme from composer Michael Giacchino (Doctor Strange and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). The Batman will hit the screens on June 25, 2021.
