Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan dominates Bhoot on Day 1

Ayushmann Khurrana never disappoints his audience. His last few movies have either created bone-tickling laughter (Dreamgirl and Bala) or challenged societal conventions (Article 15). And now his latest release Shubh Mangal Zyada SaavdhanThe Ayushmann Khurana starrer is flirting with double-digit figures on an opening day while Vicky Kaushal's Bhoot has enjoyed the loyalty of the horror genre fans. The business of the films also got a push due to the Mahashivratri partial holiday.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan opened to a whopping 9.55 crores It released yesterday with Vicky Kaushal's 'Bhoot- Part One: The Haunted Ship' which opened to 5.10 crores on Friday. The Hitesh Kewalya directorial talks about homosexual relationships with a comedic approach. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is a social comedy film written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya and produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions. A spin-off of the 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, it stars Ayushmann Khurana, Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Gajraj Rao, Manu Rishi, Sunita Rajwar, Pankhuri Awasthy and Bhumi Pednekar in a cameo.

Bhoot- Part One: The Haunted Ship is a horror-thriller film directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and jointly produced Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. Based on a true accident that happened in Mumbai, the film stars Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Meher Vij.
