Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi is a troubled doctor and a theatre artist who gets ripped off between his passion and profession. The web series chronicles the events of his medical life to being a stand-up comedian.

Starting Troubles series is based on real-life events as described in a best-selling book on medical innovations by Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi called 'Inventing Medical Devices' released in the year 2016. It's a transformational journey of a trainee doctor who turns into a medical innovator under the guidance of Dr. Kavita Gowda. While the innovations cause turbulence amongst his colleagues, Dr. Kavita is determined to make this invention happen and protect his future.

Being a producer and screenwriter by profession, Abhinav Kamal has directed this light-hearted comedy web series perfectly. Whether it was directing the ICU scene or comedy club scene, each sequence looks very realistic. Shweta Malik and Abhinav Kamal's story fits perfectly with Jagdish's real-life journey and we can say that the screenplay has done pure justice to the story, and you will feel motivated and encouraged with Jagdish's life adventures.

The series starts with the introduction of Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi (played by Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi himself) on the stage of a stand-up comedy show. Dr. Jagdish is a doctor, an innovator, and a theatre actor who is also trying stand-up comedy for the very first time. Being a medical student, he is pursuing his post-graduation in ENT surgery and inherits a passion for acting in the theatre circuit.

Dr. Manjunath (played by Bharat Chawla) is Jagdish's friend who is a South-Indian but has grown-up in the North-Indian lifestyle. Jagdish's first day in the hospital as an intern makes him realize that the medical study he has opted for is not that easy as he imagined. His thesis guide Dr. Kavita (Renuka Shahane) makes him believe that hard work is the key to success, and Jagdish follows her instructions but his medical journey became an amalgamation of several hurdles that becomes more like a headache to him. His life becomes much more troubled when he gets a face-off with his graduation thesis guide Venky (played by Rajesh PI) and what follows in his interesting journey in the rest of the story.

'Starting Troubles' is all about Venky and unwilling Manjunath's planning plotting that leads to making Jagdish's life more equal to hell. His stand-up comedy is all about how he gets suspended from the hospital and banned from the exams!

Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi plays himself here and he does that with such grace that you directly connect yourself with his life's ups and downs. Bharat Chawla as Manjunath looks too innocent with his expressions. Words wouldn't be enough to praise Renuka Shahane's role as Dr. Kavita and the other actors have also played their respective roles well.

The background music is one of the best aspects that keep you glued with the storyline. The audience laughs, hospital chatters perfectly go along with the storyline.

Overall, Starting Troubles wins the audience's heart at the end, especially with Jagdish's dialogue delivery. It was not less than a surprise to watch high-quality content where you get to learn more about the real-life struggle that connects with you. All these kinds of small light-hearted scenes make this web series a bit different from the other ones. So, if you are a fan of watching light-headed comedy then we do recommend Starting Troubles, go and watch it for a big surprise at the end of the series.
