On June 14th, Sushant Singh Rajput left the world of glitz and glamours by committing suicide at his Bandra apartment, Mumbai. Even after one month, people are still reeling under the shock of the late actor's death. Now a family friend of Sushant, Nilotpal Mrinal has appealed to the BMC and Aditya Thackeray to rename a road in Bandra after the late actor. As in Sushant's hometown in Bihar has already renamed a road as 'Sushant Singh Rajput Chowk'.
As per a report in Mid-Day, "Nilotpal Mrinal has approached Aaditya Thackeray and the BMC commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal to rename the Bandra street where Sushant resided after him to make him a part of the city forever." The report stated that Mrinal urged that if not a street, then a roundabout or a garden could be named after him.
Meanwhile, currently, the municipal authorities are busy battling the Coronvirus pandemic but still, they have assured Nilotpal that they will look into the matter at the earliest.
