It's usually common to depict suicide in literature but the act of deliberately killing oneself is not less than a crime. On June 14th, the entire Entertainment industry got shocked when Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Mumbai residence and now, Bollywood & TV actor Sameer Sharma was also found hanging at his Malad home on August 6th. Although no suicide note was found from his rented home.
On July 27th, Sameer shared a poem on his Instagram and threw a light on his miserable life. His note clearly indicates that he was going through depression and was fighting with mental health issues. Take a look at his post here -
According to E Times reports, "Sameer was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling at his apartment in Malad West on Wednesday night (August 5). The police said that an Accidental Death Report has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy. A report further suggested that he had recently rented the Malad apartment in Mumbai, and his body was found by his building's watchman."
Malad police station's senior inspector George Fernandes said in a PTI report, "We have not found any suicide note at the spot. It seems to be a suicide case. It is suspected that he hanged himself two days back. We have sent the body for an autopsy."
The actor had appeared in the shows like 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki' and 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Jyoti', 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Du', and 'Left Right Left', among others. He is also listed as a cast member in films such as Vinil Mathew's comedy-drama film 'Hasee Toh Phasee' (2014) and Abhay Chopra's suspense-thriller film, `Ittefaq` (2017). He was currently seen in 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' as Kuhu's (Kaveri Priyam) father.
