Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha said that it was a 'touchy moment' for him to see his daughter's (Sonakshi
Sinha) maiden film 'Dabanng' getting released on Friday.
"Indeed I feel very proud, a very touchy moment for me to see my daughter's first film being released, " Sinha said in an
interview to a national news channel.
He also informed that he had went to watch 'Dabanng' at a theatre in Bandra (Mumbai), where he used to watch his
movies after they got released, media reports said.
Shatrughan Sinha feels that her daughter Sonakshi has got the beauty of her mother and the confidence and talent of her
father.
"She has the beauty of the mother and the confidence and talent of her father, " media reports quoted him as saying.
He also thanked Salman Khan who played the lead character, named 'Chulbul Pandey' in this movie.
'Dabanng' was released on Friday with Salman's fans queing in front of the halls for tickets.
Produced by Dhillin Mehta, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora and directed by Abhinav Kashyap, the songs of the movie
has already gained popularity.
Moreover, the movie has a powerful star cast which includes names like Om Purie, Sonu Sood, Vinod Khanna, Dimple
Kapadia, Mahesh Manjrekar and Anupam Kher.
