Since the announcement of Aamir Khan's next film, his fans have been waiting with bated breath to find out which actress will be cast opposite him in the film co-produced by Farhan Akhtar, Riteish Sidhwani and Aamir.
3 Idiots is the biggest hit in the history of Hindi cinema. Naturally, every actress in the country wants to work with the Ghajini actor.
Every B-Town belle has sent him feelers and expressed the desire to woo him on the big screen. But according to our source, Kareena Kapoor has bagged the romantic lead opposite Aamir Khan.
Deepika Padukone was a strong contender for the leading lady part. Reveals an insider, "It's a two-heroine film. Aamir was keen to repeat his 3 Idiots leading lady.
Meanwhile, Riteish and Farhan wanted Deepika as they've worked with her before in Karthik Calling Karthik and found her to be a thorough professional and sincere in her attitude towards work. However, they all decided to go with Bebo.

The insider swears that talks are on with Katrina Kaif to play the second female part. The as-yet untitled suspense drama is being directed by Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd director Reema Kagti. The film will go on floors on February 2011.
