A popular Singaporean actor will play Shah Rukh's lawyer in Don 2
Singaporean actor Adi Putra makes his Bollywood debut in Farhan Akhtar's Don sequel. He plays Shah Rukh's lawyer in the film. The popular actor was selected after several auditions.
The two were recently spotted shooting scenes in a prison at Sungai Udang and Malacca in Malaysia.
The 32-year-old actor sent several DVDs and clips of his work to producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar to prove his acting prowess.
A source said: "Adi has been getting a lot of local press attention after getting selected for Don 2.
As part of the preparation, he spent a lot of time toning up as he's required to do some running and be a part of chase sequences.
A Singaporean by birth, Adi married Malaysian producer Aida Yusof in 2006 and will soon become a permanent Malaysian resident.
