Kajol's sister may have turned producer but she has not given up on acting yet!
For the past year, Tanishaa Mukerji has been donning a new role of a film producer. Along with brother-in-law Ajay Devgn, she was the co-producer of Son of Sardaar. With the film raking in the moolah, the actress-turned-producer could not have asked for more for her debut as a producer.
She says, `When you are acting in a film, you shoot, then do the dubbing and go home. As a producer, I have seen the entire filmmaking process right from its inception stages to its box office success. It has been one marvellous learning experience for me.`
Tanishaa had earlier assisted Milan Luthria during the making of his film Chori Chori in 2003.
`But I was just an AD, with SOS I have been fully hands on throughout.` Kajol's sister knows that she will always do something related to films. `I have been born in a film family with both my mom and father's sides part of it.` But she does not see herself doing production work for another banner.
`Why should I when there is a production outfit at home? says Tanishaa who also does not rule out acting again. `Whether in front of the camera or behind it, it will always be the magic of movies for me.`
