Sudhir Mishra had to re-do the script of 'Inkaar' after the actor expressed his dissatisfaction
Arjun Rampal, who plays the lead in the film, apparently was not okay with the script at first. He along with Sudhir Mishra re-worked it to suit his tastes. A source says, `Arjun did not reject the script totally but he wasn't too happy when Sudhir brought the script to him for the first time. Even the director himself was not completely satisfied with it.
Arjun wanted to work it around and since during the same time he was not involved in any other project, he took time out to sit and sort it out with Sudhir. Sexual harassment is a very dark subject to deal with and the script needed to be given a proper treatment.`
Arjun says, `I did not reject the script but yes I was not happy with it at first. It took us three months but it worked out for the better.` Another source says, `It so happened that Arjun and Chitrangada were travelling together and in the flight they discussed the script and the various scenes in the film and then mutually agreed to pair up.
It was then that the director finalised both the leads.` The actor adds, `We were on the same flight to Delhi. Sudhir had Chitrangada on his mind and she liked the script too but she liked it more after we re-did it.`
