Two awaited zombie movies- one from Hollywood and the other from Bollywood - are releasing in the first half of 2013.

The former is coming out with a movie called 'World War Z' starring Brad Pitt and the latter, 'Rise of the Zombie', starring Luke Kenny.

While the west has a fixation at a supposedly impending Zombie Apocalypse where Earth becomes the battle ground between humans and zombies, Luke Kenny, here, has dealt with the journey of how a human metamorphs into a zombie.

So while Brad Pitt has to somehow rescue the planet from being taken over by zombies in June, Luke Kenny, on Feb 22 will show audiences how it all begins.

"Rise of the Zombie is India's first Zombie Origin Film releasing on the 22nd of February.

The story follows the transformation of Neil Parker, a wildlife photographer, as he is clenched into the darkness to only rise again as a monster," said an official release from the makers.
