Huma Qureshi was the first choice for the item number in Prabhu Deva's film 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' which has been done by Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez may have shaken her booty for an item number in Kumar Taurani's upcoming film directed by Prabhu Deva.
But the actress was not the original choice to get jiggy for the track in the
film which is the launchpad of the producer's son Girish Taurani. The makers had first approached Huma Qureshi for the item number.
Says a source, `Huma unfortunately had to back out because of date issues. She's busy with the promotions of her upcoming film directed by Kanan Iyer and the look tests for her next film, Dedh Ishqiya. She had to
say a no with a very heavy heart.`
Adds the source, `Huma is a huge fan of Prabhu Deva since she was a young girl. She loves dancing and doing a number choreographed by him with him would have been like a dream come true!`
As the shoot was to be held outside Mumbai, there was apparently no way Huma could take some days off and travel for the shoot.
