Bipasha tells the bitter truth: Only Vidya Balan is doing the good work in B-town

Biapsha Basu feels that except Vidya Balan, no other Bollywood actress is doing meaty roles

She may have been a part of the film industry for 12 years but Bipasha Basu feels that there are hardly any scripts that offer meaty roles to the heroines. Except Vidya Balan, as Bips points out.

The actress says, `With an exception of Vidya Balan, I don't know if any actress or any of my contemporaries who can boast of great films they have done. It could be a Rs 100 crore film but I don't know what content there is for a girl to do.`

Speaking on the subject of her upcoming film opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bips says, `I think each of us are talented but we don't have projects to showcase our talent. So if a horror film is giving me that platform, why should I not take up the project? We write really bad roles for women.`

The actress also says that she has been getting too many horror film offers lately. `I get an offer of ten horror films per week. May be I should become a horror specialist. I need to do something new soon.`
