Rumour has it that the telly industry knew in advance of Mona Singh's recent MMS scandal
It's been a fortnight since Mona Singh aka Jassi was involved in a MMS scandal. The telly actress has moved on and has even begun shooting for her ongoing show. But the buzz in the small screen world about the clip continues.
Though it has been alleged that the clip is morphed and that it features Mona's lookalike, apparently several TV folk were aware of it even before it went viral on March 26. But they preferred to keep mum, as it was not something to be talked about.
Says a telly source, `There is all kind of buzz doing the rounds. Some say the clip was apparently taken by a small-time actor who never made it. Others say it was shot before her Jassi days and the clip apparently originated in Delhi. There's also buzz that it was shot during her student days.`
Adds the source, `Some names have been floating around including of her co-stars who were aware of this scandal. But it still remains a mystery why it should have gone viral after so many years now.`
Mona's name is synonymous with the show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, which ran from 2003-2006. The actress then preferred to dabble in reality shows, did a few B-Town films and later returned to soaps.
