It's not that Aaamir will be seen in a cop avatar for the first time earlier also he played the character of an IPS officer in widely acclaimed cine flick Sarfarosh, but the only difference at that time was that the league of celluloid cops was quit small as compared to today.
Khiladi is Back In Khaki
After keeping that Khiladi tag at bay for a relatively long span of time, Akki is back again to his pet Khiladi genre with Khiladi 786, where like Aamir he too will be seen in cop avatar.
So now it will be interesting to see that how this Khiladi cop saga of Akki performs on BO, because after the BO performance of his last cop tale Rowdy Rathore expectations of fans are expected to be quit high this time.

And as far as Salman's credential as cop are concerned then success of prequel Dabangg is so eloquent that it hardly leaves any scope for any other word of praise or describe it.
Ajay Baji Rao Singham
Loaded with tons of rhetoric ammunition and gravity defying sequences, Ajay's cop saga Singham is another cine flick, in which Ajay has thoroughly added on to the elegance of Khaki and has left everyone smitten by his versatile and power packed acting skills.
