Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished years earlier. Hoping to solve the mystery of her father's disappearance, Croft embarks on a perilous journey to his last-known destination - a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. The stakes couldn't be higher as Lara must rely on her sharp mind, blind faith and stubborn spirit to venture into the unknown.

The sneak peak of the theatrical trailer of Tomb Raider was released yesterday. The first poster for the Tomb Raider movie is heavily inspired by the 2013 video game. The cast of the movie, Tomb Raider is very interesting and it had to be - considering the high stakes of the movie. This franchise has been raking the moolah for Warner Bros. It brags of big names like Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft. Walton Goggins as Father Mathias Vogel, Daniel Wu as Lu Ren, the ship captain who helps Lara in searching for her Father. Dominic West asLord Richard Croft, Lara's deceased archaeologist father. Hannah John-Kamen as Sophie, Croft's flatmate and best friend.

The movie is directed by Roar Uthaug, a Norwegian film director who graduated from the Norwegian Film School in 2002. He is best known for Fritt Vilt (2006), Flukt (2012), and The Wave (2015). He along with Martin Sundland and Are Heidenstrøm won Amanda Award for Best Norwegian Film in Theatrical Release in 2016 for The Wave.

Set for initial release on March 16, 2018, the fans of this movie would anxiously be waiting to watch the movie. Already the game by the same name has hooked the gamers and they are spending hours daily to enjoy this addictive game.
