Netflix released the trailer to their genre-bending psychological thriller 'In The Shadow of the Moon.' Boyd Holbrook and Michael C. Hall play law enforcement officers on the hunt for a serial killer who seems to come back after every 9 years.
'In The Shadow of the Moon' is co-written by Gregory Weidman and Geoffrey Tock and directed by Jim Mickle and stars Boyd Holbrook, Micheal C. Hall, Cleopatra Coleman, Bokeem Woodbine, Rudi Dharmalingam, and Rachel Keller.
'In The Shadow of the Moon' is set in 1988, when Philadelphia police officer Thomas Lockhart (Boyd Holbrook), hungry to become a detective begins tracking a serial killer who mysteriously resurfaces every nine years. But when the killer's crimes begin to defy all scientific explanation, Lock's obsession with finding the truth threatens to destroy his career, his family, and possibly his sanity.
'In The Shadow of the Moon' is a genre-bending psychological thriller that examines the power of time, and how its passing can either bring us together or tear us apart. The movie had its premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 21, 2019, and will be available to stream on September 21,2019 on Netflix.
