Britney Spears Turns Down Lady Gaga's VMA Kiss

Despite enjoying a smooch with Madonna at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003, Britney Spears turned down Lady Gaga dressed as a dude.

Gaga attended the awards bash as Joe Calderone, who features in the video for new single 'You And I', and presented Britney with a lifetime achievement gong.

"I used to hang posters of her on my wall," Joe revealed on stage.

But when Gaga puckered up to Britney, the 'Femme Fatale' star politely declined the kiss.

"I've done that already," Brit said, referring to the Madonna snog.

This comes just weeks after Lady Gaga showed up at a Britney Spears gig, where the pair hooked up back stage to talk music.

Britney, who's bringing her Femme Fatale tour to the UK later this year, also picked up the MTV award for Best Pop Video for her single 'Till The World Ends'
