Tuna Rice Recipe


  • 200 gm Rice
  • 100 gm Butter
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 boiled Eggs, chopped
  • A pinch of Chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • Freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 200 gm tin Tuna Fish –Flaked


  1. Boil rice drain and allow it to dry slightly over a clean cloth. This keeps the grains separate.
  2. Melt the butter, stir in the fish and chopped the hard boiled eggs, season well.
  3. Add boiled rice and heat through.
  4. Now add the cream and herbs.
  5. Serve hot.

Tip: To peel and devein shrimp, start by pulling off the legs. Then, remove the top shell and tail with your fingers. Hold the shrimp with the curve of the back up. Run a small paring knife down the back where the vein is visible. Slice gently, just breaking the skin. Pull out the vein with the tip of the knife. Rinse under cold water.
