Milk Cake Recipe


  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour a tube pan.
  3. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder and set aside.
  4. Cream eggs and sugar. Add to flour mixture.
  5. Bring milk and butter to a boil, then gradually add to mixture with vanilla.
  6. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes.

Tip: To soften rock-hard brown sugar, simply add a slice of soft bread to the package and close the bag tightly. In a few hours the sugar will be soft again.
