- 4 tbsp Milk
- 2 tsp Butter
- Oil for frying
- 4 Bread slices
- 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
- Trim the crusts off the bread.
- Cut the bread into about 4cm strips.
- Beat the egg and milk in a shallow dish and dip the bread into this mixture until coated on both sides.
- Melt the butter and oil in a frying pan and fry the strips of bread until golden on both sides.
