Fried Chicken Wings Recipe


  • 1 cup Oil
  • tsp Salt
  • cup Flour
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • tsp Tumeric
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp minced Garlic
  • 10-12 Chicken wings
  • 1 tsp minced Ginger


  1. Remove wing tips. Cut each wing in half at the joint.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine the wings and other ingredients except the oil. Mix, cover and refrigerate 3 hrs.
  3. In a large, deep pan heat the oil, add wings and fry until golden brown on both sides- 12 min total.

Tip: Grill chicken to remove excess fat and add flavour. Instead of sauteing in stews and braised dishes, grill to remove fat and save on clean-up.
