- 5 Tea bags
- 6 cups Water
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 8 whole Cloves
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 1/3 cup Lemon juice
- 1½ cups Orange juice
- Bring water, sugar, cloves and cinnamon to boil in heavy large saucepan over high heat. Boil for about 5-6 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add tea bags. Cover and let steep 10 minutes.
- Discard tea bags.
- Add orange and lemon juices to punch. Serve hot.
Tip: When making your tea, only use freshly drawn water. When water is re-boiled it loses oxygen which prevents the full flavour of the tea being released.
