Deep Fried Prawn Recipe


  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 12 unshelled large Prawns
  • 2 chopped Red Chillies, chopped
  • Chopped Ginger, Garlic, Cloves


  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. Fry chopped ginger, garlic cloves and red chillies.
  3. Add the prawns and fry until they turn red.
  4. Add salt, sugar and little water until the gravy thickens.
  5. Remove and serve hot.

Tip: If you like fish as white as popcorn, add lemon juice or milk to the liquid you cook it in.
