Afterwards, Richa and Ali decided to postpone their wedding functions to the latter half of 2020. However, both the actors shot their first-ever joint-cover for the Brides magazine before the lockdown. Recently, Ali showered an immense love for his lady love by sharing an exquisite picture on social media.

In an interview with a leading media portal, Ali said on his postponed marriage, "Sabki life postpone Ho Gayi Hai, Shaadi Toh... let's see what comes out of this in the new world. I hope we come out as better people, a better system, a better climate. I think there's a major churning happening above, below, inside and outside... everywhere. It's definitely a time to reflect."
Well, the couple met on the sets of their film 'Fukrey' and fell in love, further they also worked together in Mrigdeep Singh Lamba 'Fukrey 2' as well. On the work front, we last saw Richa Chadha in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's 'Panga' which featured Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. Whereas Ali was last seen in Netflix`s original film 'House Arrest', directed by Shashanka Ghosh and Samit Basu opposite Shriya Pilgaonkar. Ali will be seen next in Kenneth Branagh`s mystery-thriller venture, 'Death on the Nile' along with Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Letitia Wright, and others.
