The executive producer of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions Kshitij Prasad has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau after being grilled by the investigating agency for nearly 24 hours. Kshitij was named by two drug peddlers who claimed that they used to supply banned narcotics substances to him.

Talking about Kshitij's association with Dharma Productions, Karan Johar had clarified in his statement that the filmmaker had joined Dharmatic Entertainment (sister concern of Dharma Productions) in November 2019 as one of the executive producers on contract basis for a project which eventually did not materialise. On the other side, Karan Johar is also under the lens of NCB for his controversial 2019 viral video of a party involving B-town celebs, which is being officially taken up by NCB. The video posted by the producer also featured Deepika Padukone, one of those summoned by the agency in the investigation.

Today, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor arrived at the NCB zonal office in Mumbai. All the actresses were summoned by the NCB to join the investigation of the drug probe. The drug chats that are under scrutiny by the NCB include the names of the top Bollywood celebrities.
