Sidharth Malhotra back to his shooting life, shares a glimpse from war-drama 'Shershaah' set!

Sidharth Malhotra is currently working on Vishnuvardhan's war film, 'Shershaah', which will feature him as Captain Vikram Batra of the Indian Army who was martyred during the 1999 Kargil War. In the film, the actor will be seen in a double role, playing both the late Vikram Batra and his brother Vishal Batra. The official announcement for the film was made in May 2019 and due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the film shots got shelved and now Sidharth is back on his shooting life.

Sidharth Malhotra took to Instagram and shared the BTS pictures from the sets of 'Shershaah' as he got his hair and make-up done for the shoot. In the second picture, Siddharth is seen sitting in a green room, as he gets ready for the filming. "Soldier back at work! #OnTheSets #Shershaah", the actor captioned the post. Sidharth is also seen sporting a white apron while doing makeup applied through an airbrush by a makeup artist dressed in a PPE kit. Check out his post here -

Before the official announcement of the film, it was speculated that the title will be 'Mera Dil Maange More' but later was changed to 'Shershaah'. The film was officially announced on 2 May 2019 with title and in January, Karan Johar shared the captivating poster of the film in which Sidharth was seen donning as the Indian Army officer in combat. The posters capture him in a war scenario. On the professional front, last time we saw Sidharth Malhotra in Milap Zaveri's romantic-drama film, 'Marjaavaan' (2019) opposite Tara Sutaria. Talking about his future upcoming project,Sidharth will be seen sharing the screen with his rumored girlfriend Kiara Advani in Vishnuvardhan's 'Shershaah'. Sidharth will be seen essaying the Kargil War hero Vikram Batra in the film.
