Cristiano Ronaldo has clinched UEFA award for best player in Europe
Ronaldo has won UEFA's award as the best player in Europe last season after scoring a record 17 goals in the Champions League.
The UEFA Best Player in Europe Award is an association football award given to the footballer playing for a football club in Europe that is considered the best in the previous season.
UEFA created the prize after the original European Footballer of the Year honor, known as the Ballon d'Or, merged with FIFA's world player award.
Lionel Messi: The award was instituted in 2011 and the first person to be awarded it was Lionel Messi of Barcelona club.
For the year 2011–12 Andrés Iniesta of Spain Barcelona was the winner
For the year 2012–13 of Germany of club Bayern Munich
Nadine Kessler of Germany won the women's award.
