10 Punjabi beauties who disappeared from Pollywood!
Pollywood, without a doubt, is not only providing more platforms for performers to highlight their innovation and talent, but it is also providing premium entertainment to the public. People say there's no turning back once you start working in the Punjabi film industry. However, there are a few names who have graced the silver screen but have only appeared in a few films. Although others were distracted by the spotlight, some chose a career in film over a career on the big screen. So here we have listed such beauties of Pollywood who have vanished from the Punjabi Film Industry.
Tulip Joshi is yet another icon in the film world who has worked in the Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam film industries. Jag Jeondeyan De Mele, Nishchay Kar Apni Jeet Karo, Yaara o Dildaara, and Jatt Airways are just a few of her superhit Punjabi films. Despite the fact that she only participated in a few projects, she was able to win the hearts of the public.
Gul Panag has only appeared in two Punjabi films but has already established herself in the industry. She can also be seen in the Punjabi films Sikander, which was released in 2013, and Ambarsariya, which was released in 2016. She is currently concentrating on advancing her career in Bollywood and the internet. Paatal Lok, a popular web series, and The Family Man are two of her recent successful projects.
Gurleen Chopra, who has wowed audiences with her acting abilities, has appeared in a number of Punjabi films, including Baghi, Hashar: A Love Story, Kabaddi Ik Mohabbat, and others. She was last seen in the Punjabi film Aa Gaye Munde UK de, which was released in 2014. Her cheerful voice and involvement have been sorely missed in the industry since then.
In 1994, the very glamorous and extremely talented actress Kimi Verma debuted with the Punjabi film 'Naseebo.' Following Naseebo, she appeared in a number of Punjabi films, including Qahar, Shaheed Udham Singh, Jee Aaya Nu, Asa Nu Maan Watna Da, and others, before Ajj De Ranjhe in 2012, which marked her most recent appearance in Punjabi cinema. It's exciting to hear, though, that she'll be back on screen really soon. As she prepares to return with the highly anticipated sequel Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2.
Parul Gulati is a well-known figure in the fashion world. She has also made contributions to Punjabi cinema. Burraahh, Romeo Ranjha, and Zorawar are only a few of her memorable films. Her last film was released in 2016, and she has since vanished from the Punjabi cinema's silver screens.
Shruti Sodhi's roles in numerous Punjabi films must have wowed you. Happy Go Lucky, Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar, Mr. and Mrs. 420, and Vaisakhi List are among her credits. About the fact that each of these films was a box office success, Shruti has been absent from Punjabi cinema since 2016. Aside from Punjabi films, she has also appeared in Telugu films, in which she continues to act.
Surveen Chawla is an indestructible and lovely part of Punjabi cinema. However, it's disappointing to learn that she hasn't recently been featured in any Punjabi projects. Taur Mittran Di, Saadi Love Story, Singh vs Kaur, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, Disco Singh, and Hero Naam Yaad Rakhi are only a few of the exciting Punjabi films she has appeared in. We believe that every one of us is hoping for her to make a successful comeback in the Punjabi industry shortly.
Simran Kaur Mundi
Simran Kaur Mundi, the 2008 Miss India Universe, began her career in Pollywood in 2013 with the Gippy Grewal starrer 'Best Of Luck.' In 2014, she starred in another fantastic film, 'Mundeyan To Bachke Rahin', for which she was nominated for a Best Actress Award. However, after starring in 'Mundeyan To Bachke Rahin,' the actress disappeared from the screen. Maybe she was too preoccupied with her many Bollywood designs.
Minissha Lamba was another stunning actress who disappeared from Pollywood after a few films. The actress made her acting debut in 2012 with the film 'Heer & Hero' and was most recently seen in 'Double The Trouble.' Both films were comedies, and both grossed a lot of money at the box office. Minissha continues to star in guest roles on numerous tv programs, but she has yet to act in a full-length movie.
Remember the beautiful face from the Punjabi film 'Sirphire' in 2012? With the film, Monica Bedi made her debut in the Punjabi film industry, and it performed fairly well at the box office. Monica last appeared on screen in 2014 in the film 'Romeo Ranjha,' and it has been almost seven years since she has done so. Monica, on the other hand, did not say goodbye to the spotlight and only moved to the small screen.
