Diamonds are a girl's best friend. And what better gift can any girl receive to celebrate a landmark event in her life? Tanuja has presented daughter Tanishaa a huge diamond ring to mark her successful role as film producer

Tanishaa along with brother-in-law Ajay Devgn co-produced Son of Sardaar.

Says a source, `Tanishaa has of late been spotted wearing a rock which practically takes over half of her middle finger! People have been asking her whether it is an engagement ring. But she has been heard telling her pals that it is a gift from her mommy dearest.`

Adds the source, `Tanuja was delighted that her daughter's debut as a producer was successful and crossed the much coveted R100 crore collection club. She wanted to give her daughter something special to mark the occasion. Considering all the issues the film had to face and still made it, she wanted to give something special to her beti.`

It is learnt that Tanuja specially ordered the sparkler from a designer friend and it costs some cool lakhs. Tanishaa was taken by surprise to receive it and now considers it the most important part of her jewellery.
