After being thrown out of the Indian cricket team, Banta thought it would be better for him to get married. He put in an advertisement in a newspaper and on TV, stating that he was looking for a life partner.
To his surprise, he found a long queue of females in front of his gate.
So he decided to go for a swayamwadhu (as opposed to swayamvar) kind of marriage. After interviewing more than 200 of them, he selected the one with the best figure, voice, face, height, etc amongst the contestants.To this, she retorted, "Kya kabhi spinner ko naya ball diya jata hai?" (Is the spinner ever given the new ball?)
